This Lodge is held by Mel Wartho a Medicine Woman who has lived in South America for the past 20 years she has walked the Red Road and completed her 4 years of intense vision questing following the way of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan for many many years, sun dances spirit dances ……

We are very blessed to have Mel here in the Island to offer these deeply healing Ceremonies.

We come together as Women in the womb of our glorious Mother Earth, honouring the Divine Feminine that is each one of us and encompasses the very best of feminine energy, feeling the community of Women together as one, each of us bringing our own strength and compassion for ourselves and others. Receiving instruction about our Moon Cycle and giving love to our wombs, the centre of Woman. These lodges for women are powerful and beautiful for all.

During a ceremony, participants will enter a sweat lodge (typically an igloo-shaped hut) constructed from volcanic stone, wood or cement. Once inside, hot volcanic rocks are placed in the center, and water is poured over the rocks to produce steam. Herbs, typically sage or copal, are added to aid the cleansing process.

A powerful and beautiful Ceremony Reconnecting us to the Earth , Elements and natural world we listen to our hearts and together cleanse and heal.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ
What to bring and wear, a loose fitting dress or skirt for inside the Lodge, a change of clothes for after, drinking water and some fruit to share after.
